Recent project in company branding:
Like most company branding this project started with a logo design. Due to the amount of competition in the Roman restaurant market we had to come up with a logo which was classy and purveyed the essence of Rome, Italy. The restaurant had recently undergone full renovations and had a touch of brass and gold throughout the building.
The logo was created by a sketch and transformed into an editable vector format which was then given a golden touch. The design is in fact the view from the restaurant's patio seating area - a direct look at Saint Peter Cathedral in the center of Rome.
The website for Osteria dei Pontefici was designed around their unique wall paint textures. The restaurant is divided into 3 major colours, violet, red and beige. The violet room walls were photographed in high resolution and used for the overall site colour code.
Once the initial logo design and website is done, it is time to get creative and get the word out, spreading the company image everywhere. In this scenario we had to target the right customers; Tourists and local business groups were the first target.
Sterling designed beautiful high gloss, double-sided A5 postcards. The design of course maintained the image of the site as well used the new logo. These were then distributed to 100s of local hotels, groups and business.
